In September Steria attended DSEi, the premiere Defence exhibition worldwide. Steria exhibited over the four days of the event showcasing LogOS with support from our capability partners.
We demonstrated:

  • Management of Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) - the tri-service system developed to improve supply chain management. This future joint logistics system will provide one process and one system for demanding, receiving, supplying and maintaining details of materiel from static and deployed locations. Providing visibility of logistics assets across the Defence enterprise.
  • Enterprise Content Management - the secure information solutions provided in partnership with Open Text help clients to improve their efficiency through: Electronic Content Management, Electronic Records management, Case Management, Knowledge Management, Workflow and Collaboration and Social Media.
  • DOMIS - Opti-time - the flexible resource scheduling tool developed for the Defence Estates Operations Housing to schedule move-in & move-out appointments for Service Family Accommodation. It provides Housing Officer with access to all relevant business information from a secure, mobile platform.
  • Biometric Data Capture System (BDCS) - the reliable and secure system which provides static and mobile access control for several hundred personnel per hour through a unique biometric identity key based on iris, finger prints and facial features. The user friendly interface allows for fast and accurate biometric acquisition.
  • We hosted a wide variety of visitors including politicians, senior military personnel along with partners and potential partners, successfully showcasing the capabilities which make Steria one of the top 10 ICT suppliers to the UK Defence industry.
